Overview

This project aims to develop a Gen-AI enabled Integrated Platform Environment (IPE) that serves as a unified console for platform support teams. The IPE provides various capabilities to enhance incident resolution and platform management.

Features

1. Agentic Capabilities for Incident Resolution:

   • Access to automated tools for running diagnostics, summarizing Root Cause Analyses (RCAs), launching health checks, and retrieving related incidents directly from the IPE console.

2. AI Chatbot Integration:

   • A contextual AI chatbot powered by GPT backend to assist support operators in resolving incidents by providing real-time information and guidance.

3. Contextual Recommendations:

   • Proactive recommendation engine that leverages telemetry data and related incidents to provide insightful suggestions for issue resolution.

4. Enterprise Information Integration for Troubleshooting:

   • Integration with additional data sources using Model Context Protocol (MCP) to provide comprehensive information based on the platform support person's needs.

5. Content-Based Data Extraction:

   • Ability to extract fields such as connectivity information, upstream, and downstream dependencies based on simple queries for the Configuration Item (CI) in question.

Repository Structure

• genai_chatbot_hackathon/: Contains the main application code for the Gen-AI enabled IPE.
• genai_local_chatbot/: Includes components related to the local AI chatbot integration.
• venv/: Virtual environment directory (should be excluded from version control).
• README.md: This file, providing an overview and guidance for the project.

Getting Started

To set up the development environment:

1. Clone the Repository:

   git clone https://github.com/pratyashapattanayak/boolean-hackathon.git
   

2. Create a Virtual Environment:

   python3 -m venv venv
   

3. Activate the Virtual Environment:

   • On Windows:

     venv\Scripts\activate
     

   • On Unix or MacOS:

     source venv/bin/activate
     

4. Install Dependencies:

   pip install -r requirements.txt
   

5. Run the Application:

   python main.py
